I have over fifteen years of experience in the fashion industry as a designer, technical designer and product developer. I have worked in the denim, bridge, junior, active sport and independent designer markets with the likes of: Rugby Ralph Lauren, Nike, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Fubu Jeans and Erin Snow. Understanding the unique needs of a small start-up fashion business as well as the functions of a large company are part of my skill set. Previously, I have built and design directed two independent fashion companies: Institute of Dress and Charles & Victoria, garnering press in Elle, Zink, Metro.pop, Vibe, Lucky and Daily Candy. The music star Rhianna has worn my designs in concert and on BET TV.
More recently, I have expanded my experience into styling for photo shoots and video. My first big styling job was for jazz musician Esperanza Spalding in her video, City of Roses.
I am available for freelance, full-time, consulting & contract apparel design work and styling.
I currently live in Portland, OR.
When I am not working for other businesses, I am busy working on my own clothing line Ancliffe.
